POSTER SUBMISSION
Call for Abstracts
The Thai Association of Dental Implantology (TADI) encourages
researchers and clinicians to present, discuss, and exchange new
research results or case reports within the field of implant therapy and
related disciplines. Therefore, the TADI gives you the possibility to
submit an abstract for the 1st Bangkok Implant Symposium (BIS)
taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, November 30th - December 3rd,
2010.
Abstracts, in English only,
can be submitted until October 31th, 2010 by sending an
e-mail to poster@bis2010.net
Instructions of Abstract
The abstract (max. 400 words) is submitted with the following
subheadings:
o Title: The title of the
abstract should be limited to 10 words.
o Names of authors: The full
names of all authors, including professional/academic affiliations.
o Background: The background
of the study should clearly be described.
o Aim: The aim of the study
should clearly be stated.
o Materials and methods: The
materials and methods should be described systematically and in
details,
including sample size and statistical methods.
o Results: The obtained
results should be described systematically and in details.
o Conclusions and clinical
implications: The main conclusions should be stated, including
possible clinical implications.
Please do not use
abbreviations. Small tables can be included (no figures or pictures).
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by reviewers with special
knowledge within the specific field. You will be notified by e-mail for
an acceptance within the date of November 5th, 2010. If you
did not receive a reply e-mail from the TADI, please contact us at
poster@bis2010.net
The accepted abstracts will be
published in the scientific programmed book of the 1st
Bangkok Implant Symposium (BIS).
Poster Dimensions
Posters will be displayed vertically. Make sure your poster reads
left to right across the poster that is 30 inches (76.2cm) wide x 40
inches (101.6cm) tall.
Poster boards will be available at conference site for display of your
poster.
Registration of presenters and certification
All presenters are required to register and pay registration fee at
special rates (see registration forms) before November 12th, 2010 in
order to confirm their presentation. The author will receive a
certificate from TADI at the end of the conference.
