APAID PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE On the occasion of the 2^nd Asia-Pacific Academy of Implant Dentistry Congress that will be held from December 1-3, 2010, I am deeply honored to extend my warmest congratulations to all its officers and members for its continuing contributions in the pursuit of excellence in Implant Dentistry. I particularly commend the chair and the members of the organizing committee for embarking on this project and opting to focus on a most appropriate theme, “Future Implant Dentistry: A Scientific Base”. This theme reiterates the decisive steps we must always take in laying any future groundwork in a discipline that is continually evolving. We are, therefore, enjoined to explore all possibilities on a scientific basis to better advance our profession and to better serve our respective communities.
